Teacher Cycling Community Ambassador Policy
1. Role of Ambassadors:

Ambassadors play a vital role in representing and promoting the Teacher Cycling Community within their local and professional networks.
2. Eligibility:

To become an ambassador, members must have been active participants in the community for a minimum period and demonstrate a commitment to its values.
3. Application Process:

Interested members can apply to become ambassadors by submitting an application via the website detailing their passion for cycling, involvement in education, and plans to promote the community.
4. Responsibilities:

Ambassadors are expected to actively engage with the community (online and in real life) and encourage participation from fellow members.

They will share information about community events, initiatives, and relevant content within their networks.

Ambassadors will organise at least one ride per half term in real life and contribute to leading the program of online/virtual meet ups
5. Local Engagement:

Ambassadors will organise and participate in local cycling events, rides, or meet-ups to foster a sense of community among members in their region.

These events are to be shared through the Teacher Cycling Club Members Events page.
6. Social Media Presence:

Ambassadors are encouraged to leverage their social media presence to promote the Teacher Cycling Community.

They should use community-specific hashtags and mention the community in relevant posts.
7. Communication Liaison:

Ambassadors will serve as a communication bridge between community members and administrators.

They will convey feedback, suggestions, and concerns from their local groups to help improve community initiatives.
8. Event Coordination:

Ambassadors will take the lead in organising community events or collaborate with other members to ensure successful and inclusive activities. These should abide by Teacher Cycling Community Meet Up policies or other policies which may apply related to the event.
9. Training and Resources:

The Teacher Cycling Community will provide resources to ambassadors to enhance their effectiveness in promoting the community.

10. Term Limits:

Ambassador appointments are for a specified term, after which they may reapply.
